BEND, OR – Tannus Quatre, principal/consultant at Vantage Clinical Solutions in Bend, will be a featured speaker on the topic of branding and marketing at the 2013 California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA) Annual Conference in Pasadena, Calif, held Friday-Saturday, Sept. 20-21. Quatre’s presentation, titled “Positioning the PT Brand: A Requirement for Success in Direct Access,” is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 20 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Before an audience made up of physical therapists from throughout California, Quatre will discuss how in an age of direct access to physical therapy – meaning no physician referral is required to seek physical therapy services – strategic and collective branding by independent PTs is necessary to strengthen the message of what physical therapy is, what it does and its value to medical consumers.
“As members of the physical therapy profession, each of us provides one voice, one face and one experience to a profession defined collectively by us all,” Quatre said. “As we embark on efforts to achieve mass adoption of direct access physical therapy, it is imperative that we place a collective focus on the one aspect which defines us: our brand.”
A co-founder and lead consultant at Vantage Clinical Solutions in Bend, Quatre works with clients every day in business planning/development, marketing strategy, and the implementation of lean operations into clinical settings. A licensed physical therapist, Quatre is a national speaker on the topics of physical therapy and entrepreneurship and is a regular contributor to PT Magazine, Impact, and Advance Magazine.
